Camelphat’s Second Album Dropping In August

Camelphat confirmed via twitter their second studio album is complete and will be released in August. We couldn’t be happier with this news.

Post Dark Matter

Multi-platinum producers recently dropped their two track EP ‘New Mind‘ last month with Josh Gigante. They have been moving towards melodic techno and performing with the likes of the Afterlife label artists. The duo also released popular singles ‘Believe‘ with Matham, ‘Critical‘ with Green Velvet, and ‘The Sign‘ with Anyma. The Liverpool natives released their first album Dark Matter in 2020 which featured hits like ‘Breathe‘, ‘Coca Cola‘ and ‘Panic Room‘.

Their much anticipated second album will consist of 16 tracks as confirmed on twitter. Excited to see who they will be collaborating with this time around. Let’s dive into a few classics from Dark Matter.

Dark Matter

Cola‘ with Elderbrook was definitely one of my favourite and was nominated for Best Dance Recording for the 2018 Grammy’s. It was their first song to reach the charts. Elderbrook featured twice in the album with another single ‘Dance with My Ghost’. Other famous artists collaborating with the duo were Eli and Fur, Jake Bugg, Artbat, Christoph and many more. Jem Cooke’s hypnotic vocals were intoxicating in both ‘Carry me away’ and ‘Breathe’. Her vocals along with the catchy beats have us enjoying these festival favourites even today.

Camelphat will be performing this weekend at Creamfields UK. They will have a hometown show in Liverpool on July 1st. The English duo will hold their residency at Pacha Ibiza every Tuesday from May 23rd to October 3rd as well. We are hoping to catch a preview of the new album at one of these shows!
