A$AP Rocky’s Frankenstein Leaked With Unclear Swedish House Mafia Involvement

Another episode of Swedish House Mafia news, and yet another one without new music. Frankenstein, the supposed collab between A$AP Rocky and Swedish House Mafia just leaked. And it is hard to say whether it is indeed a collab or an A$AP Rocky original after all.

Frankenstein appeared this summer when the Swedish trio played it during their set at Ultra Europe. They also teased it on their Instagram stories. This was enough to unleash rumors that the track is an upcoming collaboration between the DJs and the American rapper.

The leaked ID, available below, seems to be the full high-quality version, and matches perfectly the one played during Ultra Europe. However, the original leak and many other reposts have no sign of any SHM involvement. It is likely that Swedish House Mafia played the ID only as a sign of support to A$AP Rocky after his arrest in Sweden.

Some other non-original reposts of the track mention that it is indeed a co-production with the DJs. A likely supposition is that SHM co-produced this track for A$AP Rocky but without it being an “official” collaboration. For instance, we remember Usher‘s Euphoria, which the Swedish DJs produced.

Swedish House Mafia has been working lately with many other artists like Mike Dean and Luke Steele from Empire Of The Sun. So, one can only expect a big number of collaborations…if we ever get actual releases.
