Cheat Codes – Level 1 EP
DJ trio Cheat Codes made up of Trevor Dahl, Kevin Ford, and Matthew Russel, have just released their debut EP Level 1. Following the success of their singles ‘NSFW‘, ‘Balenciaga‘, and ‘I Love It‘, the Level 1 EP has been a long time coming for anxious fans. The overall sound of the EP is a solid and scrappy big-room EDM vibe with a little flare.
‘Activate‘ is a heavy tune with hard-hitting drops and assertive lyrics that flow perfectly together. The track exudes a confident vibe that might activate a feeling to listeners. ‘The Concept‘ is a wild one, taking the party sound in their music to another big room level. Last but not least, ‘Boing Boing (feat. The Seige)‘ is a more mellow track, following the beat of a hip-hop driven sound with subtle house beats.
