EMA Club of the Year Award Goes to Legendary New York Club Output

The inaugural Electronic Music Awards, dance music’s first awards show commemorating 30 years of the culture, was held in Los Angeles last week. The awards ceremony recognized moving forces in the industry, including producers, festivals, and clubs where many of the artists were introduced to their craft.

New York’s Output was awarded with the Club of the Year honor – quite an epic achievement, taking out London’s Fabric, Ibiza’s DC10 and Berlin’s Berghain.

Output is a two-floor establishment in Brooklyn that has made a name for itself with its memorable space, epic events and a strict ‘No Photos’ policy. Many think of it as the best club in New York, which is now backed by the EMA’s decision to award it the Club of the Year. Celebrated for the summer rooftop parties, Output also holds its right to the award with one of the finest sound systems on the planet and their consistently amazing lineups.

Other winners from the EMAs include Eric Prydz for DJ of the Year and Alison Wonderland as New Artist of the Year. You can find the full list of winners here.
