On Tuesday, July 23, Harris teased fans with an extended preview of ‘Free’, featuring a pared-down intro that spotlights Goulding’s mesmerizing voice. The music of Jake Stanczak, better known as American producer and DJ Kill the Noise, was born out of

Twin rocked MTV. After channeling the influences of his youth through over a decades’ worth of forward-driven electronic releases (‘Roots’, ‘Kill Kill Kill’, ‘Black Magic’, ‘Occult Classic’), and charismatic live shows
(Coachella, EDC Lollapalooza, Hardfest), the name “Kill the Noise” has become synonymous with some of
the leading acts in dance music.

Getting creative in the studio with the likes of Dillon Francis, deadmau5, AWOLNATION, and Skrillex. In 2022, Kill The Noise made his return with EMBRACE, his sophomore album and first in seven years. The album was accompanied by Kill The Noise’s 27 city tour to promote the record.

We’re seriously scratching our heads at EDMTunes trying to figure out how these two managed to leave us speechless yet another time, when we thought we had heard it all. And then they came up with this. Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding are among the artists we are all begging to collaborate and make a new hit together, a hype rightfully earned from their EDM shapers ‘I Need Your Love‘ and ‘Outside‘.

The start of this year had the duo in the spotlight once again, from when Harris shared a picture of him and Ellie in the studio together mid-January. Little did we know this new conjoint work would take so little to become something massive. We first thought it would be a House/Progressive House kind of thing. Then, in a later teaser, we learnt the BPMs didn’t belong to those genres, so we assumed it would be some sort of Trap beat. But then, a ‘Miracle’ happened.

We only had a rough idea of how Ellie’s vocals sat on top of a beautiful atmosphere. We heard it in a studio preview and inside a church. It wasn’t until Calvin’s Lima date that we finally learnt which style they were following with this new track: Trance. But not any kind of trance: the old trance. We’re talking 90s tints all over, we’re talking jumpy offbeat bass, we’re talking Robert Miles‘ kind of piano. That kind of Trance. And, to be honest, I don’t see anyone complaining about it. We all seem to love this trip down memory lane.

Harris uploaded this minute-long preview of the sublime ‘Miracle’ recently. Have a listen yourself. Come on, delight your ears, and calm down your nostalgic sweet tooth.

Did your jaw drop as far into the ground as ours did? Ellie’s voice in a trancier type of beat is that one combination we didn’t know we needed. Their song is a playful and melodic, yet raw one. The Las Vegas music festival will take place on Saturday, September 4, with a curated lineup of some of dance music’s finest artists. Attendees can expect performances by DJ producers such as Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, Marbs, and Porky, along with special guests.

Desert Hearts has made its mark within the dance music scene since November 2021. Made up by crew members Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, Porkchop, Marbs, and Kristoff McKay, this group will not stop giving party-goers an experience they will never forget.

With projects such as Desert Hearts Spring Festival, City Hearts Festival, Desert Hearts TV, and a record label, Desert Hearts continues to showcase the influential power of house and techno music. Therefore, Sin City Hearts attendees and EDM lovers can expect nothing less than great dance music and a fun time.

AREA 15, the new home of the festival, is a new interactive entertainment district that holds a variety of offerings, such as live shows, immersive attractions, art installations, bars, retail stores, and more. The two dutch dance music icons have been great friends and close colleagues for many years. They have never released an official song together until now. Last year, Nicky Romero made a remix for Armin van Buuren’s ‘Unlove You’.

Nicky Romero teased the track for the first time during his live stream set for We Are NRG last week.

The song unfolds moreso in Nicky Romero‘s style but, at the same time, it has a classic and enveloping progressive sound. During the breakdowns, we can hear Armin’s signature kicks. Without a doubt, Armin and Nicky’s collaboration doesn’t disappoint.

This preview is still an ID, so there’s no information regarding a title or release date. However, Calvin Harris did tell fans that in “a couple weeks” there would be new music. Anyway, this song is very groovy so far. It has elements of acid house in the main melody and it uses a drum n bass break to back up the melody. Sadly, there’s no drop but we can expect it soon like he said.

This song is very interesting as Calvin took a lot of heat for the poppy music of his Funk Wav Bounces era. However, this is a change fans of dance music will love. Fans can only hope that this is a preview of what the rest of the new music will sound like. Check out the preview down below.

Giuseppe Ottaviani has been one of the genre’s biggest standouts for some time.

The Black Hole Records producer has three albums under his belt so far: Go!, Magenta, and Alma. He has close to 60 productions total and over 55 remixes since the beginning of his career that began in 1999.

Today, we are able to finally hear his new stage album, ‘Evolver‘. Yes, you read that correctly. GO admits that none of the tracks were developed in a studio. In fact, all ideas were crafted on the road while on stage while performing or traveling. He then perfected and recorded his ideas in the studio. ‘Evolver’ is a very unique take in the trance world. None of the tracks on the album are accompanied by vocals as well as no collaborations. In the past, GO has partnered with other producers such as Paul van Dyk, John O’Callaghan, Solarstone, and more.

On the legendary producer’s Facebook, he provides a look into the tracks or teasers that have been released so far. In all the posts, he explains what inspired him for each one. For example, GO felt so insanely passionate about his performance at Chicago’s top venue, Soundbar, that during his performance, he toyed around with the ideas right there on the spot.

Giuseppe explains that he was never actually going to release many of these IDs that he has included in live shows. But fans from all over the globe expressed on social media and in-person how badly they wanted these tracks in their hands. GO heard them loud and clear and started working. He even had fans vote on which tracks they wanted to be released once the tracklist was solidified.

‘Evolver’ is the album that trance fans need at this time. Many trance outsiders believe that this style of music is just uplifting repetitive beats. However, ‘Evolver’ delivers in many other ways.

In this album, the Italian producer explores trance but other subgenres like progressive and tech trance. They all provide the listeners with a chance to embark on a journey in their own minds. ‘Follow The White Rabbit‘ is a track that does just that. Another standout includes the opening record ‘Time Shift‘ which sets the tone for the adventure the audience is about to begin.

It’s easy to get caught up in GO’s fluid beats and melodies. As an avid trance listener, I caught myself wanting each single to never end. I was going back and replaying many of the songs because of the intricacies heard in each one. They all provide different beats to keep you on your toes. Hopefully one day soon, we might be able to hear the reasons for each track. Some of the names include ‘8k‘, ‘Raven”, ‘Operator‘, and ‘Have A Nice Trip‘.
