Bill Gates DJs On TV And It’s As Bad As You Would Expect

Even with the technological advances in the world of DJing, essentially leading to infant children being booked at music festivals nowadays, some people will just never have the skill set. Look at Paris Hilton for example. Wait until you see tech industry pioneer Bill Gates gets behind a set decks. It was all for a good cause though.

Bill and wife Melinda were guests of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon a few nights ago to discuss their Annual Letter from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The purpose of the foundation is to raise awareness on the topics of education, health and poverty and this years’ message was geared towards teenagers. What better way to get through to that age group than with music and since electronic genre has been the only growing style over the last decade.

On a pre-recorded scene, you see Bill using a set of vinyl turntables and a talk box while Melinda is in the background occasionally using the microphone. It’s as bad as you’d expect. While I was watching, I kept having flashbacks to the Saturday Night Live skit done by The Lonely Island ripping on the over-exaggerated drop too often used in main stage festival tracks.

We definitely like Zeds Dead’s version way better.
