AfterShock & Badvss TV Announce Virtual Music Week!

It’s not every day that we go through a pandemic like the ongoing Covid-19 crisis; much less to launch a brand during one. However, that’s exactly what we bring you today – the announcement of the Inaugural AfterShock Virtual Music Week and we think you’re going to like it!

AfterShock runs with the slogan of:

A Festival Marking the Beginning of an Organization Promoting Good Music and Even Greater Causes!

During these trying times, this is exactly what we need. AfterShock, in partnership with Badvss Entertainment, has unveiled a week-long music festival set to launch this first-of-its-kind organization. Firstly, AfterShock is an artist cultivation network that connects music producers to the necessary community and resources to empower their artistic growth and impact the world.

Secondly, their mission is quite simple: to connect conscious creators. In order to do this, AfterShock has assembled a team of industry professionals who have the resources that artists today need to succeed.

In order to benefit from the many advantages of joining the AfterShock family, each artist is required to choose a charitable cause that they are passionate about. The artists are given the necessary tools and knowledge on how to give back. AfterShock aims to educate its artists on the ways they can connect with nonprofits in their local communities. In addition to this, they are shown how to leverage their digital platform to spread awareness. Wholesome.

AfterShock Virtual Music Week

AfterShock Virtual Music Week wholly reflects everything the network stands for. Therefore, it is the perfect opportunity to see what they’re about. The event will be streamed via Twitch June 22-28, 2020. This will be streamed live on Badvss Entertainment’s channel at Twitch.tv/BadvssTV. The week-long virtual festival boasts 6 full nights of music. Subsequently, this will see the week stacked with over forty streams from artists in the collective. Moreover, their styles encapsulate innovative sounds from electronic, hip-hop, and instrumental music.

How

Each day the festival will highlight a different organization that is currently fighting for civil justice and equality. For example, the chosen beneficiaries of the week are the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI), American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), Youth Justice Coalition (YJC), Critical Resistance, Transgender Law Center (TLC), and Getting Out and Staying Out (GOSO).

Throughout each day, AfterShock will share content on their social media platforms to educate their audiences on the impactful work each organization is doing and inform followers on how they can get involved. AfterShock has set up a GoFundMe for each organization, and a link to donate will be displayed during all streams of the week. A fundraising goal of 500 dollars has been set for each day to directly benefit the nonprofits.

The AfterShock Community

To conclude the festival, AfterShock is calling on members of its community to participate in a Day of Service. On Sunday, June 28, all artists and affiliates of the company are highly encouraged to get out in their local communities and perform acts of service.

Individuals are taking part in a multitude of ways ranging from actions such as providing meals to those in need, protesting, cleaning up the communities, and other forms of volunteering. AfterShock left this open-ended to allow the artists to get creative on how they choose to provide aid to their communities.

No matter how one decides to engage, this day is focused on giving back. Thus, the Day of Service actively represents AfterShock’s quest to promote the intersection of the music community and social impact.

Most importantly, information about AfterShock Music Week’s lineup, schedule, and benefiting nonprofits can be found on their respective Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook pages.
