i_o – Lazers
i_o is a mysterious computer hacker by day and an exceptionally talented techno producer by night. Surfacing from the dark corners of the web back in December with ‘Warning’, i_o has since released music off Spinnin’ Deep with Tommy Trash, Jauz’s label BiteThis! and a debut EP with mau5trap. Adding to his already impressive repertoire, i_o just dropped an explosive new track, ‘Lazers’, on Andrew Rayel’s label inHarmony Music.
‘Lazers’ is the epitome of a track you’d want to hear when you’re raving in a warehouse for 10 hours. If the track is a taste of what we’re getting from i_o in 2018, then we’re chomping at the bit for this guy to play another show soon.
To promote his new track, i_o took it upon himself to “hack” Armin Van Buuren’s A State Of Trance show today, interrupting the global icon with flashing lights and glitching computer screens. Suddenly, A State of Trance had become A State Of Techno. The guy really is everywhere.
