Warner Brothers To Produce Film on DJ Tatiana’s Cross-Dressing Story

DJ Tatiana

When it comes to the world of electronic dance music, there seems to be an overwhelming gap between the number of successful female DJ’s versus male DJ’s. But with the likes of Nervo, Krewella, and Pretty Pink pushing the boundaries within mainstream culture, there is another story that has seemingly broken its way into the hearts of the Hollywood production realm.

Tatiana Alvarez, also known as DJ Tatiana, has become a relatively well-known DJ over the past several years. While many people may be familiar with her name, some may not know how she’s achieved success. Posing as a male DJ under the moniker DJ Musikillz, the multifaceted artist gained respect from her colleagues. As she gained popularity within the EDM world, she was able to shed her fake identity in order to reveal her true self by proving that females were just as capable as their male counterparts. Sound like the perfect inspiration for a feature film, right?

Now, Warner Brothers have purchased the life rights to her story and are in the early stages of development for a film. Executive producers Benjamin Anderson and Mike Medavoy‘s of Phoenix Pictures have a great task ahead of them, but with such an inspirational story to work with, the movie should be a guaranteed success.

We can’t wait for the film’s release and to see what DJ Tatiana is all about, check out this video of her live from from Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas!
