The Twelve Days of New Year’s Eve Events: Calvin Harris at Hakkasan

The
As we already mentioned, Sin City is one of the most incredible places you can be this New Year’s Eve. With more megaclubs adorning the Strip than ever before, the odds are stacked that you’ll have an incredible night DJ’d by one of the biggest names in the game. And as 2014 comes to a close, no one is bigger than Calvin Harris. Along with Eva Shaw and Burns, the Scottish producer will be celebrating the start of 2015 at his home in Las Vegas, Hakkasan at MGM Grand.

Coming off a record-breaking 2013, Harris’ 2014 has certainly been larger than life.  In April, he performed on Coachella’s mainstage to the second biggest crowd in the festival’s history. In September, he celebrated his many successes by purchasing a $15 million mansion in Beverly Hills.  In October, he became the first act to have three singles in the top 10 of Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs simultaneously, with new singles “Blame,” and “Outside” along with seasonal stronghold “Summer.”  In November, Calvin released his fourth studio album, Motion, and beat out Avicii and Zedd for Favorite EDM Act at the AMAs.  Just recently, we learned Calvin Harris is in the top 10 of Forbes’ list of Highest Paid Musicians across all genres. Coming in at #9 with $66 million in one year, the superstar is the only electronic artist to crack the top 10 and is the highest-earning DJ in a single year in Forbes’ records. To top it all off, Harris is now modeling for one of the world’s leading luxury brands, as Emporio Armani named him as their frontman for their Spring 2015 campaign.

We already reported that Calvin Harris’s NYE celebration will offer up a new precedent in bottle service, but we’ll reiterate the full details.  For a cool $500,000, elite revelers can purchase the ‘World’s Most Expensive Bottle Service‘ in the form of the Dynastie Package. The Dynastie Package guarantees your name in lights on the main screen during a confetti shower, a staff of 40 attending to your wants and desires, a 30-liter Midas by Armand de Brignac, a championship belt, a gold disc signed by the man himself, diamond cuff links and a diamond necklace.  Without a table, men are looking at $325 + fees for GA; ladies will pay $175 + fees.  Tickets for this over-the-top event are available here.
