Insomniac Gives Back to Vegas Community With $90,000 Donation to Charity

Insomniac Gives Back to Vegas Community by Donating $90,000 to Charity
Insomniac Events, the company who hosts some of the world’s largest dance festivals, such as Electric Daisy Carnival, is constantly seeking ways to lend a helping hand to the communities that help them thrive. Their multi-day festivals bring in staggering amounts of funds, and it brings a smile to our faces to see a large percentage of these profits put right back into the communities.

Las Vegas has been very kind to Insomniac, so in return, Insomniac has decided to return the favor back to Vegas by donating a collective $90,000 to three charitable organizations. Leaders from the Injured Police Officer’s fund, Boys & Girls Club, and University Of Nevada School Of Emergency Medicine congregated at the LINQ where Pasquale Rotella presented each in turn with checks for $30,000. These organizations presented Rotella with hand-painted ‘electric owls’ as a gesture of their gratitude. Pasquale goes on to show his appreciation for these organizations, and their importance to his home and community:

“I’m really grateful that the fans from EDC Las Vegas have made it possible for me to stand here today and present $90,000 to three amazing organizations, each of which gives so much back to the Las Vegas community. Las Vegas is not only where Insomniac hosts our largest festival, but it is also my home. Being able to give back to the community where I live and work is an amazing feeling and I hope it inspires others to look around and see, no matter how big or small, that they can make their hometowns a better place to be.”

Insomniac has donated $375,000 to multiple different organizations since 2011 and will hopefully continue to do so for many forthcoming events. These acts are not only a way to nurture the music that made this company famous, but also the communities and people that have shown so much love and dedication to the world we live in.
