FreakNight Day 2 Canceled Due to Drug Related Death

Freaknight, the popular Halloween festival held in Seattle, was set to have its doors open at 4pm. Festival goers were set to walk through the doors when word from Century Link Field was tweeted out that Saturday’s evening festivities were canceled due to a drug related death of a 20 year old male the previous night.

Washington’s Poison Control had attempted to treat the patient on location at the festivals venue, WAMU Theater. This is also on top of the another raver that was hospitalized in critical condition as of Saturday evening, as well as five who were reported for over intoxication.

Saturday’s show was set to host the likes of Galantis, Alesso, and headlining Tiesto, but would-be attendees had to scramble throughout the streets of Downtown Seattle to find alternative plans for the remainder of the evening.
