A couple weeks ago, Saturday Night Live featured a digital short that goofed on the electronic dance music scene and highlighted the cultural stereotypes. Within 24 hours, the spoof went viral. Although there was great controversy about the digital short, many quickly became curious about the actual track that was heard during the short. A few Internet clicks later, we found Berkeley, California producer Sam F to be the great Oz behind the badass production ‘When Will The Bass Drop’. The track itself, which features The Lonely Island and Lil Jon, also went viral and has had numerous speculating producers put their own spin of the banger performed by the one and only Davincii. Los Angeles duo Slander took a jab at it and, as a result, flipped the production into an epic festival trap banger. The rising duo slays this remix and most definitely answers when the bass will drop.
