Space Ibiza to Open Club in New York City

Space NYC

Pacha fiends, be prepared! There’s a new club coming to downtown New York City.  While the club scene in NYC has grown significantly over the past few years, Pacha still stands as the elite club of the city, commanding the largest draw of big name artists and sponsored shows at various other venues.  But come November 27th, Ibiza’s famed Space night club will be opening their doors, supposedly on 637 W 50th St., in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen.

Space has teased us all will a photo from their instagram promoting the clubs opening night next month but not much more than just a blurry date. With no acts or residencies announced yet, we’re left to only conjure up ideas of who may be on the decks opening night.  With Space Ibiza’s history, it’s hard to rule out the idea of the famed Carl Cox and or close friend Nicole Moudaber opening up the club in style.  Regardless of who plays at Space’s opening night, the clubs opening is a refreshing sign that the electronic scene has not been diminished or scorned by the city after Electric Zoo.  City dwellers now have plenty of options for a night out between powerhouse Pacha, Marquee, Output, Finale, and now Space among others.

Who do you want to see open up the New York Space Thanksgiving eve?
