Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare: Horror, EDM, and more

null
Horror mastermind and face melting musician Rob Zombie is bringing his Great American Nightmare to the Pomona Fairplex in California for four nights a week October 10th through November 2nd. Thursday-Sunday nights fans will descend upon the Fearplex for an evening of horror and music with Friday evening being capped as their EDM night. In addition to three spectacular haunted houses, the Great American Nightmare will feature some of the best electronic artists on Friday nights and a variety of other fantastic acts from different genres across the other nights. Activities will be available along a ‘Bloody Boulevard’ as well to truly include everything you would want in a Halloween themed festival.

Of particular interest to us, of course, are their featured electronic artists on Friday nights. On October 11th, 18th, 25th, and November 1st you can find a variety of some of your favorite artists throwing down what will be some pretty great sets in the name of horror. Here are details on the lineups for every Friday night of the Great American Nightmare.

Friday October 11: Blood on the Dance Floor, Heavygrinder – The opening night for the EDM portion of the Great American Nightmare features an electro pop duo whose wild style and controversial songs make them a perfect addition to this concert series.

Friday October 18: DJ Bl3ND, DirtyLoud, One More Time (Daft Punk Tribute)

There isn’t a more fitting for a Halloween themed event than DJ BL3ND. His signature Chuckie looking mask makes him the perfect candidate to participate in the Great American Nightmare. You can check out his summer mix below to get an idea of what BL3ND has in store for attendees of the event.

Friday October 25: Doctor P, Zomboy, Terravita, Evol Intent – Headlining this night is English dubstep producer Doctor P. Dabbling in a variety of bass oriented genres, Doctor P has collaborated with electronic heavyweights such as Flux Pavilion and Dillon Francis. This is a night not be missed if you love the bass, as we can promise you he’ll be dropping it all night.

Saving what is, arguably, the best for last, their final EDM night will be on Friday November 1 and the lineup will include Destroid (Featuring Excision, Downlink and KJ Sawka), Dirtyphonics, Fei Fei!

EDM powerhouses Excision, Downlink, and KJ Sawka combine to form the live bass music trio that is Destroid and all three will be present to throw down on the second to last night of the Great American Nightmare, before Rob Zombie himself closes the show the following day. Their setup is particularly massive, with each member in costume and on a raised platform from which they proceed to destroy the audience. You can listen to one of their most streamed tracks on SoundCloud below.
