Knife Party Tease New Unreleased Jauz Remix In EP Tease Video

Fans of Knife Party were treated to some exciting news this morning as the Australian duo took to Twitter to announce some updates about their upcoming EP ‘Trigger Warning’. Details have been relatively scarce about the project, with few tracks such as ‘PLUR Police’, ‘Parliament Funk’  and a collaboration with Tom Morello surfacing since it’s announcement. While we were promised only six to eight weeks till it would grace our ears, we’ve been forced to resort to replaying their Ultra Music Festival set to satisfy our yearning for new music from Rob and Gareth. Fortunately for us, our prayers were answered today – albeit only for nineteen seconds – as Knife Party uploaded a short clip of an unreleased remix of ‘Plur Police’ by none other than Jauz, the up-and-coming bass house superstar.

With ‘Rock The Party‘ and ‘Squad Out!‘ having seen massive success commercially, it’s exciting to see what Jauz cooks up, combining his smooth brand of bass house with the heavy-hitting sound that Knife Party is famous for. If this preview gives us any indication as to the direction of the upcoming EP, it sounds like Knife Party might be returning to the powerful, dubstep/electro house roots that was notably absent from ‘Abandon Ship’. Either way, it’s reassuring to know we won’t have to wait too much longer to hear from the talented duo. Look for ‘Trigger Finger’ to arrive (hopefully) soon.
