Eric Prydz Makes CHVRCHES Remix Official, Reveals Album Details

Source: Soundcloud
It’s been quite some time since we’ve had a new release from Eric Prydz. His last track, “Ruby”, dropped 3 months ago under his Cirez D moniker and his last Pryda release was an EP released over the summer. Many of Eric’s biggest fans know that he tends to save his masterpieces for release under his own name, and the last one of those was “Liberate” which dropped almost a year ago. Now, Eric Prydz is finally back with Zane Lowe’s “Hottest Record in the World“, his remix of CHVRCHESTether. This track was first played during Eric’s unforgettable set at Ultra Music Festival last year and has become a staples of his sets ever since.

Eric explains that his tour manager used to include CHVRCHES’ original track in a playlist and he heard  it numerous times before deciding he had to rework it for use in his sets. The track wastes no time building a transcendent energy that includes a swanky saxophone interlude before moving into anthemic lyrics that will undoubtedly be sung by the thousands who see him at his upcoming Generate Tour and headlining slot at Ultra 2015. To add even more excitement, Eric adds that his album is essentially finished and the polishing should be complete in about 2 weeks. In a year that already includes some blockbuster album releases, it’s safe to say that the Pryda album is one of the most anticipated of them all. Unfortunately, this track won’t see release until March 29, but if you can’t contain your excitement for new Prdyz, be sure to check out the preview below.
