With a successful EDC performance under his belt, a killer collab with Kaskade on the Redux EP (out now) and a sexy-house remix of Zhu’s ‘Faded‘ recently released, one would think Amtrac has done more than enough to satisfy fans in the past 2 or so weeks. This Kentuckian isn’t taking any breaks though, and we’re not complaining; he’s back again with a remix of Tough Love’s ‘Dreams’.
Amtrac’s taken this tropical house track and actually toned down the energy. Altering the overall mood of a track this drastically of course will have a profound effect, and in this case a deep one. Yep, this is another Amtrac deep house special. Vocals have been filtered and chopped so that they act more like a support to the bass and the melody is kept clean simple so listeners can easily get in the groove (and might not want to leave). Of course the little details he’s put in can’t be ignored; the choir vocalizations in the background are something you don’t notice on a first listen but they really take this track to a whole new level of deep.
