Alesso Returns With Introspective New Single ‘Fight For Love’

Alesso is back with new music. The Swedish producer drops ‘Fight For Love’ this Friday, October 16, a collaboration with vocalist Kaitlin Aragon that pulls him toward moodier, more introspective territory than fans are used to hearing from him.

‘Fight For Love’ leans on strings and big vocal moments to carry its emotional weight and sounds like an eerily symphonic track. It’s a departure from the festival-ready anthems that built his career, though the production polish that’s defined his sound for over a decade is still very much intact.

Alesso tied the track to his exciting performance atop the Empire State Building.

Aragon’s vocal presence gives the record its emotional center, pairing with Alesso’s cinematic instincts to push the single into darker, more layered territory than his usual radio-ready output.

Alesso was discovered by Sebastian Ingrosso of Swedish House Mafia and came up alongside names like Avicii, Martin Garrix and David Guetta during dance music’s mainstream explosion in the early 2010s. Tracks like ‘Heroes (We Could Be)’ helped cement him as one of the genre’s defining crossover artists, and he’s since dipped into pop, rock and country collaborations while keeping a foothold in club and festival culture.

His reach now extends well past the DJ booth — he’s performed at Formula 1 events and the X-Games, and has landed on the covers of PAPER Magazine and Modern Luxury, with additional features in Harper’s Bazaar, Billboard and Vogue. And just yesterday, he performed a special pop-up set at the Empire State Building to celebrate the release of the new song.

‘Fight For Love’ arrives everywhere today.
