Something is brewing in the Netsky camp. Last week, a website called netsky.sh quietly appeared online, and it did not take long for fans to start digging through it and speculating about what it means for the Belgian drum and bass producer.
Shortly after the domain surfaced, Netsky wiped his Instagram account completely clean, a move that rarely happens without a reason in the music industry. He then broke his silence with a single post: a screen recording of the netsky.sh site itself, offering no caption and no further explanation.
The timing of the wipe alongside the site’s appearance has fans connecting the dots. Instagram account resets have become a familiar signal in electronic music circles, often preceding album rollouts or rebrands, and Netsky’s history suggests he is not one to make moves like this without a plan behind it.
Who Is Netsky?
Boris Daenen, better known as Netsky, has been a fixture in the drum and bass scene since the late 2000s, building his name on Hospital Records before launching his own label, Netsky Records, in 2019. His self-titled debut album and follow-ups like Third Person and 2 helped push melodic drum and bass into wider festival territory, and he has remained a consistent presence on lineups at Tomorrowland, Ultra, and EDC over the years.
He has also ventured well outside the genre, releasing a jazz-influenced record under his own name and collaborating across pop and hip-hop. That range makes the current teaser harder to predict. There is no telling yet whether netsky.sh points toward a return to his drum and bass roots, another genre pivot, or something else entirely.
Beyond the cryptic site and the single Instagram post, neither Netsky nor his team has confirmed what is coming or when. For now, the only real clue sits at netsky.sh itself, and fans are treating every pixel of that screen recording as a potential hint. Given how deliberately this rollout has been staged, more details are likely to surface soon.
