Juliet Fox and CARAVEL have joined forces for their debut on Insomniac’s MUTATE Records with ‘Nobody Else (Off My Mind),’ a hard-psy collaboration that finds two distinct corners of the techno underground meeting in the middle. The track is out now across all streaming platforms.
Built around a vocal hook that leans into the obsessive headspace of limerence, ‘Nobody Else (Off My Mind)’ captures that specific kind of fixation where someone won’t leave your head. The production backs that concept up with galloping basslines, driving percussion, zipper rolls, mechanical textures, and what the artists describe as “anabolic screeches,” with choir-style vocal harmonies and crunchy breakbeat syncopation cutting through at key moments. It’s a lot happening at once, but the emotional melodies and vocal work give the track some breathing room against its otherwise relentless hard-psy backbone.
The collaboration traces back to a shared bill in New York back in August 2025. Juliet Fox said the idea took root during conversations after that show. “So happy to see this track finally get released, we started the conversation back when we played together in New York in August 2025, so 1 year on we’ve got this absolute d-floor banger! Loved working with CARAVEL and can’t wait to see all the reactions,” she said. “We wanted to find a middle ground and a meeting place for our styles. We have a lot of crossover but still some uniqueness in our performance and production. This track definitely captures the essence of both of our worlds and brings them together.“
CARAVEL echoed that sentiment, noting the goal was to make something that felt authentic to both artists rather than a compromise between two sounds. “From there, we blended our two worlds, combining emotional melodies, powerful vocals, and hard psy influences to create a track that reflects both of our identities,” she said. “We wanted to merge our two worlds in a way that felt authentic, blending emotional melodies, powerful vocals, and hard psy energy. The result is a track that captures both of our identities while creating something fresh for the dancefloor.“
Juliet Fox is originally from Adelaide but now works out of Lisbon, with a sound shaped heavily by time spent in Berlin’s underground scene — hypnotic techno, raw ’90s-style grooves, tripped-out vocals, and industrial flourishes. Outside of production, she runs the TREGAMBE label, hosts the podcast The Mother Frequency (which covers motherhood alongside life in the music industry), and launched TECHNOPATRA, an ongoing series exploring different sides of her sound. Her tracks have picked up support from Spotify editorial playlists like Techno Bunker, Hard Techno, and Electronic Rising.
CARAVEL, raised in Lyon and now based in Paris, has built a name for herself in the hard-techno underground with a sound that moves between schranz, psytrance, industrial, and techno. She’s played Boiler Room, Teletech, and EDC Las Vegas, and her music has caught the attention of Nico Moreno, Charlie Sparks, Amelie Lens, Lilly Palmer, and AZYR. She’s released on Exhale, Hekate, and Sacred Court, along with her own imprint, HAKU.
‘Nobody Else (Off My Mind)’ is streaming now on all platforms via MUTATE Records.
