GorillaT just flipped Gryffin and BUNT.’s ‘World Away’ (feat. Inéz) into something the bass heads are going to lose their minds over.

The original, dropped last month as part of Gryffin’s ELEMENTS I rollout, is pure melodic mainstage magic—intimate verses, Inéz’s soaring vocals, and that anthemic “love will find us anyway” chorus. GorillaT keeps the emotional core intact but completely rewires the drop.

He lets the build ride on those familiar vocals before slamming into his signature wonky, gritty low-end. Thick subs, surgical sound design, and those neck-snapping wobbles turn the track’s hopeful energy into a straight-up face-melter. It’s the kind of remix that feels built for the crater, late-night sets, and every headbanger in the room.

Fans following GorillaT on Instagram would know that this whole concept stemmed from Gryffin posting a bunch of his music online and then sending a DM to him and asking him if he would be down to do a remix for one of the tracks and the rest is history.

Tate took to Instagram to share:

“This is my first ever official remix, and the fact that it’s for a song and artists I love so much is such an incredible honor for me.in a million years did I ever expect this to happen. For all of my artists just getting started, don’t think to hard about it, do the thing no matter how scary it may be, you really never know what can come of it! “

At 25, the Denver producer (Tate Warner) continues his rapid rise with this one. Fresh off his Inner Mind EP, major collabs with NGHTMRE, Liquid Stranger, Big Gigantic, and DJ Diesel, plus festival slots at EDC, Beyond Wonderland, and Elements, GorillaT keeps proving he can take melodic records and make them hit harder than almost anyone in the scene right now.
