Creamfields has announced a massive replacement for John Summit after he cancelled the remainder of his August shows to focus on his upcoming North America tour. Creamfields organizers haven’t left fans hanging. Stepping into the void is none other than Swedish progressive house icon Eric Prydz taking over the Apex stage on Friday August 28th. Creamfields is a massive 4 day festival that welcomes 70,000 to 80,000 attendees per day at its Daresbury site in Cheshire, UK
While losing John Summit who has been dominating main stages worldwide, is a blow to fans the addition of Eric Prydz turns a potential disappointment into a historic festival moment. Taking over The APEX stage at Creamfields is the world’s largest indoor festival main stage superstructure. Unveiled for the 2024 festival, the colossal arena holds a 30,000 capacity, features immersive production with massive LED screens and lasers, and hosts top-tier electronic dance music headliners with extended late-night openings
While Eric Prydz is a fan favorite having played headlining slots from his 2022 Holo show bringing his visual concept to life to his signature progressive sound Pryda in 2024, recently he announced a massive North America tour. John Summit will be missed being a fan favourite with his high energy tech house Experts Only sound. Set times will be updated via the official Creamfields app. Attendees holding day tickets are encouraged to check official festival communications for potential line-up shifts.
