Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman and Kevin de Vries have joined forces on ‘Before You Go,’ a new collaboration featuring Luxtides, out now via Tomorrowland Music. The track pairs the Swedish duo’s uplifting progressive house style with de Vries’ cinematic melodic techno sound, while Luxtides’ expressive vocal performance ties the record together.
Over the past decade, Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman have become staples of the progressive and melodic house scene. The duo, comprised of Dimitrios Vangelis and Andreas Wiman, earned worldwide recognition with ‘Payback,’ their celebrated collaboration with Steve Angello.
Meanwhile, Kevin de Vries has become a leading name in melodic techno through his work with Afterlife. The Berlin producer is known for ‘Dance With Me’ and ‘Metro.’ Those tracks blend cinematic breakdowns with hypnotic grooves. He has also played major stages at Sphere Las Vegas, Coachella, and Tomorrowland.
Luxtides, the solo project of American singer-songwriter Danni Bouchard, anchors the track with an emotive vocal performance. She has become a sought-after vocalist in dance music. Collaborations with AFROJACK and David Guetta showcase the versatility she brings to ‘Before You Go’.
On ‘Before You Go,’ warm melodic layers and driving rhythms frame Luxtides’ soaring vocal, creating a seamless meeting point between progressive house and melodic techno.
The release arrives just ahead of the artists’ appearances at Tomorrowland, where Kevin de Vries is set to play the Mainstage and Crystal Garden, while Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman will bring their signature sound to Celestia. You can see the Tomorrowland schedule and lineup here.
