Multiplatinum English electronic duo Camelphat merges energies with Brazilian powerhouse Volkoder for the fresh and synthetic track ‘Unique Moment’ via Camelphat’s own imprint When Stars Align. Ahead of its release, the track had been played by heavyweights such as Solomun, Miss Monique, and Anyma.
‘Unique Moment’
The genre-defying ‘Unique Moment’ blends Camelphat’s analog-forward sounds and Volkoder’s wonky basslines. The track feels like the solemn child of the duo’s ‘Compute’ and the Brazilian artist’s ‘Whisky’. Led by a sharp and computerized vocal, ‘Unique Moment’ crosses multiple genres. From lots of pointed analogs that turn into a Middle Eastern light melody, to Techno, Electro, and House, the song is a mainstage, festival weapon. Furthermore, the single release follows Camelphat’s Hï Ibiza Residency, which started this past May. The duo is now in their 7th year of residency in the major party island.
Camelphat
With the rest of the Summer at their disposal, the duo will continue their Hï Ibiza residency through October. Then, they’ll prepare for a crazy double header on October 24th, playing early evening in London at Ironworks, and ending the evening in Amsterdam for the Camelphat Experience at Loveland.
Volkoder
The Brazilian artist has had a resourceful year and is ready for more. Major stops on his tour include guest sets for Ibiza Residents, including Camelphat, Miss Monique, Solomun, and Anyma. Furthermore, he is landing at many major festivals, including Hive and Rock in Rio.
