EDC Las Vegas just wrapped up its 30th Anniversary, and Pasquale Rotella is already unleashing an earthquake for next year. It all started with a teaser Instagram story from Pasquale hinting at a special announcement about something that has been debated for many years. As it turns out, the big announcement is that EDC Vegas is finally stepping up and going to two weekends in 2027. This is something that has been demanded for over a decade, since the days when EDC was in June and there was no camping component.

Unofficially, rumors had begun spreading around town in the week leading up to EDC Vegas 2026, with hospitality groups being told to prepare for two consecutive weekends in 2027. It turns out that the rumors were correct, and our sources have confirmed that the announcement will be a 2nd weekend next year. Now we await the formal announcement with the dates, but we are certainly hoping that the 2nd weekend will be during Memorial Day Weekend 2027. Stay tuned, and we will update this post with the details!
UPDATE: 10:50PM EST
Here’s the official announcement below. Sadly, EDC Vegas will not stretch into Memorial Day Weekend 2027. It will take place on the traditional weekend before Memorial Day Weekend and now also the weekend prior. They’re calling it EDC Dusk on May 14, 15, and 16, and EDC Dawn on May 21-23. Now EDC Week will be the bridge in between the two weekends of EDC Vegas.
EDC Vegas 2027 will have lower capacity during each weekend, creating more space and making travel/accomodations less expensive. The overall goal is less congestion at all stages of the experience. The ticket prices will also go down to something like what they were a decade ago. GA tickets start at $399 for one weekend or $599 for both. The lineup is expected to be the same for both weekends, more like Coachella than Tomorrowland.
What do you think about this new Dusk till Dawn experience? Will be you going?
