Madame Tussauds New York is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Random Access Memories in style. 6x GRAMMY award-winning French electronic music duo Daft Punk will “Get Lucky” with yet another accomplishment in their storied career. They will have brand-new wax figures. The figures will set up residency behind the DJ booth in the glamorous Glow Gala area, inspired by New York’s iconic gala scene, alongside some of the brightest stars like Ariana Grande, Matthew McConaughey, Rihanna, and Beyoncé.
Known for having no ropes or barriers, Madame Tussauds’ historic artistry once again gives fans a brush with fame and proves that the world’s biggest celebrities are “Human After All.” Madame Tussauds partnered with French DJ collective Maison Disco to take over Brooklyn club staple, Avant Gardner, which was named Best Large Club by DJ Mag.
The immersive event invited guests to a night of live electronic music with an elevated audiovisual experience, epitomized by the surprise dual-figure reveal, an unannounced moment in the spirit of Daft Punk’s flair for the mysterious. Both Madame Tussauds and Maison Disco paid homage to their shared French origins while captivating attendees with the timeless sound of ‘90s French House music and a retrospective of the DJ duo’s discography.
Random Access Memories was the final album of Daft Punk’s storied career. At least for now.
