Out today is Tiësto’s remix of Swedish House Mafia’s summer hit, ‘Ray Of Solar.’ After a string of releases that explore varying genres, including his DRIVE album from earlier this year, ‘Ray Of Solar’ sees Tiësto return to his Trance roots.
The producer keeps the integrity of SHM’s original track, but builds on the melodies and bumps up the BPM for a high-energy thumper begging to be played on Trance stages across the festival circuit.
Tiësto’s remix follows three other official remixes of the track released so far, from Alex Wann & Sasson, Mau P, and Anfisa Letyago. Swedish House Mafia teased the release of the remixes earlier this summer and fans have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of each new one.
The trio still has another album in the works, according to a post from SHM member Steve Angello earlier this year. The album was expected out this summer, which has now come to a close, so stay tuned for more details.
