DJ Mag Releases Winners of Best of North America Awards

DJ Mag’s annual Best of North America awards is usually spot on. This year is no different. They have accolades for various categories including Best Festival, DJ, Producer, Track, Album, etc. Like me, you might eagerly scroll through to see if your favorite artist or venue made the cut.

There were plenty of big names on this year’s list and some new ones. The winners covered a variety of genres. The community as a whole is represented well. Some standouts to me included Subtronics as Best DJ and LP Giobbi as Best Producer. The best breakthrough DJ was Anna Morgan and the Breakthrough producer was HoneyLuv.

The best breakthrough label was John Summit’s Off The Grid Records. They of course might just change the name in the coming future. The Best Track was awarded to The Martinez Brothers & Tokischa for ‘Kilo.’ With the Best Album being Skrillex’s Quest For Fire.

The best Large Club venue was Brooklyn’s own Avant Gardner and the esteemed Brooklyn Mirage. The best festival hailed from Canada and is Shambhala Music Festival.
