ZHU Releases New Single ‘Revelations’ Featuring Devault and BabyJake

ZHU first emerged on the EDM scene back in 2014 with his hit single ‘Faded’ which landed him a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording, and since then, he’s become one of the most enigmatic artists to watch. Outside of his cool and sleeky musical production, he embodies the same through his trailblazing fashion sense, that just oozes of swag. Last year, he debuted his fashion line, NIGHTDAY, named after his massively successful debut EP of the same name, and we saw him incorporate his fashion into his live shows. His latest single ‘Revelations’ builds upon the image that he’s created, and is perfect for club play.

‘Revelations’ is his first track since the release of his seven-track mixtape Musical Chairs Mixtape (Vol. 1) last summer. BabyJake lends his silky smooth vocals to start the track, while percussion and synths build the club night soundscape. Then half way in, ZHU’s renowned signature vocals belt through all into the climax. The vocals carry the track and take centerstage as the synth work and production never overpower ZHU or BabyJake’s voice. The single will usher in a new ZHU era as more new music will be coming, along with an album drop arriving at the end of August.

ZHU also just wrapped performing at Lightning in a Bottle and a performance at the Cathedral in San Francisco last week. The show at the Cathedral was recorded as was the album writing and recording process to be used in a feature film. The film will be released at a major film festival later this year, stay tuned to his socials here to stay up to date.
