This weekend a terrible incident happened at Beyond Wonderland at The Gorge that has shaken the event to its core. Last night before 8:30pm, somebody began shooting at random into the crowd at the Beyond Wonderland campgrounds area H. The Grant County Sherriff’s Office reported that the shooter walked away and began shooting at random again before police took him into custody.
In the wake of this horrible event, Beyond Wonderland canceled Sunday’s festivities.
The sheriff’s office confirmed that two victims were killed and three others, including the suspect, were wounded. The names and conditions of the victims and the suspect were not immediately available. Police said motives and intentions were completely unknown and the investigation would continue.
