Sources Reporting Coachella Will Be Postponed Within 2020

Since Ultra Music Festival‘s cancellation, everyone has been expecting for Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival to cancel soon. Last week, public officials stated the event would still take place despite coronavirus concerns. However, this morning, Riverside County declared a Public Health Emergency when the first case of the coronavirus was reported. Since then, three more cases have been reported. Now, unfortunately, multiple sources have claimed that the popular festival might be postponed.

According to New York Magazine and HuffPost contributor, Yashar Ali, she has heard from a source that arrangements have been made to postpone Coachella to a later date. The dates would be on the weekends of October 9 and 16. In addition, the festival would have the same lineup.

Festival Owl has also reported that Coachella will be postponed. According to their post on social media, they confirmed that it will take place on the October dates stated above and that the lineup will attempt to be the same. However, doing that may be extremely difficult due to the festival’s large size. Furthermore, the publication has shared that the event is working with artists and an official announcement is being set up.

Coachella will face a postponement due to #coronavirus concerns.
