After a while on the horizon, Mija finally released her 13-track debut album, Desert Trash. Throughout, there’s a collaboration with Gammer and two features by JR Slayer and Thys from Noisia. Looking back, this follows up her debut EP in 2018, HOW TO MEASURE THE DISTANCE BETWEEN LOVERS.
Desert Trash allows itself to flow from sounds inspired by indie-electronic, drum & bass, house, and a few more styles. Alongside, there is an emphasis on Mija’s vocal performances across the entirety of the album.

Well, here we go! my not-so-humble album announcement lol…. HEY! My album is out today. I know that this may seem somewhat of a departure, but I needed to step outside of my comfort zone and into something that would become a catalyst for my next development as an artist. I wrote this album with the intention of stripping down all the excess and focusing on what truly matters to me; self-expression, realness, and the story. “Desert Trash” is who I am. It’s what I’ve identified with my whole life….and now it’s yours. LISTENING LINK IN BIO
