Destructo – Bassface (The Remixes)
It’s been almost two years since Gary Richards, better known as Destructo, released his house single ‘Bassface’. Now, the popular song is making a comeback with the release of the official remix package. The compilation gives us a fresh take on the song with some of today’s hottest house artists. It includes remixes from Golf Clap, Dillon Nathaniel, and KOOS.
In Golf Clap’s remix, the Midwest house DJ duo adds some rhythmic deep beats. Dillon Nathaniel’s remix has more of a club vibe with its catchy house tunes. KOOS’ remix gives us more of a build up, and seemed the most experimental out of the three.
The remix package comes out at a great time, as Destructo’s annual All My Friends Festival is coming up in a few weeks. The house-oriented festival is returning for its second consecutive year in LA, with a lineup consisting of Justice, Black Coffee, Idris Elba, Diplo b2b MK, and more.
