The festival will take place from March 20 – 22, back at its longstanding home Bayfront Park in Miami. In 2019, Ultra had faced logistical difficulties at Virginia Key, prompting the festival’s return to its original venue. The move back to Bayfront Park came at a cost to Ultra, though. The festival organizers commited to lower its maximum decibel level to 102dB (from 110dB previously) and remove the Biscayne (Oasis) Stage.
On a more positive note, on top of what will most likely be another epic lineup, the environmentally-conscious among us will also be happy to hear that Ultra’s eco-friendly ‘Mission: Home’ campaign will continue into the 2020 edition. These efforts earned an “A” from local environmental organisations in 2019, and will aim to maintain this grade going forward. This campaign is setting an excellent example to other festival organizers about environmental consciousness at these large events.
