We’ve been waiting all year for a Claude VonStroke original. Good news: today, we get not just one, but two! Out now via Dirtybird Records, the Slink EP is the artist’s first solo release of 2019. The tracks were definitely worth the wait, and it couldn’t have been released at a more ideal time. The EP gives off a more eerie and dark vibe, perfect for getting in the Halloween spirit.
The self-titled track ‘Slink’ is a groovy deep house single with the right amount of funk. It’s good for grooving in the car or at the club, and was even named Pete Tong‘s Essential New Tune last Saturday.
Claude also brings some techno to the table with his second track on the EP, ‘Please Oh Please Oh Please’. The mesmerizing chant captivates listeners, and the beat hits oh so hard.
In addition to his EP drop, the artist has also released dates for his fall tour, which includes venues like Imagine Music Festival and Dirtybird Campout.
