American DJ/Producer ‘Skrillex’ released today his brand new awaited track ‘Midnight Hour’ featuring American rapper ‘Ty Dolla $ign’ and long-time friend and collaborator ‘Boys Noize’. The track was debuted by all three musicians during this year’s ‘Miami Music Week’. At first thought to be a ‘Dog Blood’s’ collab, it looks like Skrillex decided to release it under his name because he realizes how huge of a hit this one could become.
Still a Household Name
The name ‘Skrillex’ is one of the biggest names in the music industry, both inside and outside the EDM community. The American DJ/Producer’s versatility and diverse set of skills make him a name recognized all across the global musical spectre. From producing ‘Justin Bieber’s’ album ‘Purpose’ to featuring in ‘Ed Sheeran’s latest album’ there’s no doubt this guy can do anything. In addition to this, Soony Moore, who goes by the stage name Skrillex stays a dominant force in the EDM community since the release of his first EP ‘My name is Skrillex’.
A Man of Many Genres
One of Skrillex’s many talents is the ability to produce tracks that combine genres. Inside the EDM community, both his personal project and a series of amazing side projects such as bass duo ‘Jack Ü’ with fellow American DJ/Producer ‘Diplo’ and House/Techno project ‘Dog Blood’s’ with German DJ/Producer ‘Boys Noize’ continuously grab the spotlight. Now, this last duo comes together to finally premiere their long-awaited single ‘Midnight Hour’.
Midnight Hour
Skrillex and Boys Noize premiered the track ‘Midnight Hour’ during 2019’s ‘Miami Music Week’. The weeklong marathon experienced the new collab that brought together three of the biggest names in the industry right now. The song contains American rapper’s Ty Dolla $ign smooth vocals, combining with an amazing beat provided by Dog Blood’s members. A song that will become a festival, afterparty, and club’s favorite for it’s hypnotizing vocals and upbeat, dance infusing rhythms. As Skrillex promised nearly a month ago, the track is out now. This proves, without a doubt, that Skrillex has tons of music prepared for this year. Just after releasing an EP a month ago, Skrillex yet releases a song that mixes genres beautifully, proving once again that he can do just anything he puts his mind into. Finally, Skrillex’s back to claim his rightful throne in the EDM world.
