Ultra Reveals Mic-Dropping Lineup for Expanded Resistance Island

Ultra Music Festival was NOT kidding when they said its techno Resistance brand would be taking on a bigger role than ever in 2019. Sure the Spider stage is gone, but what if we told you that Resistance Island (yes that’s the new name) would feature 3 stages AND Carl Cox hosting the Megastructure all 3 days? That’s right, it’s the underground paradise you’ve always dreamed of.

That’s before we even get into the lineup, which features basically every name of the hottest names in underground and techno music. Of course the biggest mic drop news here is the inclusion of Adam Beyer x Cirez D. You knew there was nowhere better for this game changing show to throw down and mesmerize the world. That epic setup in the megastructure will be something to behold, but that’s there’s more. We have all the heavy hitters like Tale of Us, Adam Beyer, Maceo Plex, newcomers like Enrico Sangiuliano and some insane b2bs like Moudaber b2b Dubfire b2b Paco Osuna. Oh yeah, and there’s a secret b2b with Carl Cox that we don’t know yet.

As predicted by some, Resistance is taking full advantage of the 2-venues-in-tandem setup to splinter off into its own festival within Ultra that is arguably amazing enough to keep you there all 3 days. What’s left to know? Carl Cox getting the megastructure for 3 days means that Armin’s A State of Trance will be moved. Details on that will have to come soon, but it follows similar downsizing moves for trance stages across the festival spectrum. In the meantime, feast your eyes on this trailer.
