In late October, Sonny Moore aka Skrillex testified in regards to a 2012 stage diving incident. He and Lost Boys Touring Inc. are being sued by Jennifer Fraissel. She alleges that she was injured during a show at The Belasco and suffered a stroke.

New footage, however, has come out that shows she was smiling after the jump. Fraissel has gone before the court to dismiss that footage. She claims that she never expected Skrillex to jump. The smile in the video reflected how she felt before she was injured. “I was trying to enjoy the show,” she said. “How was I to know a significant event was about to happen to me?”

However, her claim of not expecting the jump has already been called into question by the defense. They have proof that she attended a Skrillex show in Las Vegas the year before this incident. He performed the same sort of stage dive then.

The defense has used this video footage not only to show how close Fraissel was to the stage but also to point out the grin on her face after the fact.

Fraissel said that she was enjoying the show beforehand and that the expression on her face does not mean that she consented to Skrillex jumping on her.

It’s impossible to know how the Los Angeles Superior Court jury will rule in this case, but hopefully, there will be a verdict soon enough.
