Jason Ross – East of Eden
Jason Ross, our Anjunabeats studio and sound design enthusiast, just released a new track titled ‘East of Eden‘. He definitely captures the energy and spirit of progressive trance in this one.
The track starts off with a driving bass characteristic of a progressive trance buildup. Feelings of arousal spark as the tune continues. A minute in, it quiets and all you hear is the faint sound of trumpeting synths. The long wait soon ends as the breakdown hits you hard. It’s futuristic and fast, with its anthem-like ambiance swaying you back and forth. From start to finish, you feel like you’re journeying deeper with everyone listening.
The San Diego native is a veteran to the trance genre and has made quite a name for himself since 2010. Inspiration for his music comes from travels that have impacted his life’s journey so far. That passion diversifies his sound and gives us the ingenious original productions and ecstatic live performances we see all over the world. From thrilling fusions of proto-dubstep to bass in 2018, he takes us on whirlwind trips through amazing soundscapes. We love his remixes for Illenium, mashups, and new releases on Seven Lions’ Ophelia imprint.
Emphasizing the smoother sound of Eurodance or house music, this genre has become the world’s leading dance floor music. With its long buildups and breakdowns, it brings hype to any venue. Add a talented record producer to boot and you are going to have a great time.
Having been in the industry for quite some time and accelerating his status among the ranks, Jason knows how to read a crowd and always leaves them wanting more. With dozens of single releases and remixes, we can’t wait to see what’s next.
‘East of Eden’ is the first single off Jason’s upcoming EP called “Rooms“. To go along with all his new EP, Jason Ross has announced a “Rooms” North American tour which is set to kick off early next year.
