i_o – Move
Mau5trap‘s techno protégé is back once more with a club driven banger in “Move“. Instantly recognizable by his raw techy sound, i_o delivers as usual.
The second of two tracks from his new Low EP, “Move” is a combination of pounding techno drums and groovy-almost Acid 303 like- bassline. Mau5trap’s resident ‘hacker’ also blends in a mildly processed vocal stem which definitely wants to make you “Move to the drum beat”. i_o never fails to impress and ‘Move’ is a testament to that.
Without knowing who produced this most people would think this is by one of the bigger names in techno (I find this akin to Drumcode’s style). And if you do see some of the bigger names dropping this in their sets, well I won’t say I told you so. But I told you so.
So sit back, crank that subwoofer up, hit play and well… I’ll leave the rest to your imagination.
