Yotto – Kantsu
Anjunadeep heavyweight and deep house king Yotto returns with a new release called ‘Kantsu’. Already with some hard hitting tracks in his discography, ‘Kantsu’ is sure to be added to the list behind the likes of ‘Firewalk’ and ‘Aviate’. As part of a new Radiate EP set to release in June, we are beyond excited to get a quick look at this premier track. You know it will be good if BBC named it one of the hottest records in the world.
Yotto’s classic deep and driving energy is evident from the very beginning. That low and rumbling bass line sets the foundation under a whirl of vocal and ambient textures. A subtle percussive lead slowly works its way to the forefront of the mix before taking a step back throughout the breakdown. As the momentum swells once more, this same percussive lead comes back in full force for the rocking climax of the track. If this song is any idea of what the rest of this EP has in store, it’s safe to say it will be one of Yotto’s finest.
