“Friday the 20th of April is a date I will never forget. On that day I lost a true friend, and the world lost one of the most innovative and talented producers in the world”. This is what Tiesto said as he dedicated the 578th episode of his CLUBLIFE podcast to the late, great Avicii.
Tiesto and Avicii became close friends when Avicii began opening for him at Privilege in Ibiza. They even went on tour together in England. Tiesto remarks, “I feel like part of my youth has just passed away.”

When news of Avicii’s tragic death struck the entire world, it left us all heartbroken.
