Hardwell – Earthquake
‘Earthquake’ starts off with an epic build up as Hardwell mixes in a vocal sample that chants, “Jump, make the ground shake”. As the beat drops, you’re greeted with 16 progressive bars of Hardwell’s high energy, signature sound. Post build up, the track slows down into a euphoric trance. But right before you start to wonder if the quiet will take over he brings you right back into the punchy electro mix.
Hardwell was born in the Netherlands and found his “claim to fame” after his “Show Me Love vs. B” bootleg went viral. Hardwell On Air brought the internet closer to the dutch DJ and producer through weekly mixes. The familiar “Are we on air?” catch phrase found its way into the hearts of fans pregaming their Friday night alongside Hardwell’s 11:00pm live stream of the show.
