Porter Robinson & Mat Zo – Easy (Blvk Sheep & Fransis Derelle Remix)
Salt Lake City’s Fransis Derelle is known for creating trap hits and melodic bangers. Recently the producer released his second EP Pixel Paradise which showcased his talent through 4 tracks. While his new productions show off his creative prowess, Derelle’s remixes have shown that he is a force to be reckoned with. He’s remixed Deadmau5, ATLiens, Flux Pavillion, Adventure Club and more and now he’s back with a remix of a classic – Porter Robinson’s and Mat Zo’s ‘Easy‘.
Derelle takes ‘Easy’ up a notch by amplifying the chords and adding in syncopated rhythms. ‘Easy’ gets the team treatment as New York producer Blvk Sheep adds his trap and bass touch to it as well. The biggest difference between the original and remix is the added instrumentation that really outlines the melody. Lastly, by intensifying the drops through added percussion, this remix is perfect as a mid to end set finisher. Give it a listen below.
