Earlier this year, IKEA and Teenage Engineering announced their partnership for a new line of home audio and DJ equipment. The Swedish collaboration, named “FREKVENS“, is geared toward those looking to amp up their house parties with a collection of speakers, strobe lights, and a turntable—at an affordable IKEA price.
The FREKVENS equipment will come in a series of bold statement colors that are designed to stand out and be the center of the party. FREKVENS will boast a sleek design with the unmistakable IKEA affordability, with equipment costs ranging from $5 to $99.
Unbeknownst to basically no one, there will be some assembly required. A small price to pay for a dope party experience!
The line will debut in IKEA stores in June 2019.
