While terror-related attacks have struck an Ariana Grande concert and now a country music festival, our dance music community has so far avoided any potential crosshairs. Now bone-chilling updates indicate that, in fact Stephen Paddock had prior events in his literal crosshairs. Senior law enforcement sources say that the attacker rented multiple condos overlooking Insomniac’s Life is Beautiful Festival which featured Kaskade, Zeds Dead, ZHU, Tchami, Deorro, and more from the dance music scene.
It is believed that the perch may have been located at a building called The Ogden which overlooks Life is Beautiful. The official indicated that Paddock either “lost his nerve” or changed his plans before targeting a country music festival during the weekend after Life is Beautiful. At this point the staff at The Ogden are unable to confirm or deny the veracity of this report. However, this is obviously quite terrifying for anybody who was there, and we hope that the authorities will get to the bottom of his motivations or possible conspirators soon.
