Zedd and Alessia Cara Win a Well-Deserved VMA
Every year the infamous MTV Music Video Awards, AKA the VMAs, have hosted a ceremony with the ability to draw the attention of millions of teens to 20-somethings as they cheer on their favourite artists. During the event, the musical nominees can only aspire to win the ultimate prize: a “moon person” statue. Yesterday, the often reffered to “Super Bowl for the youth” was in full swing and blessed the talented Zedd with the “Best Dance” award for his chart-topping collaboration with Alessia Cara, ‘Stay‘, resulting in a moon person of his very own.
This admirable accomplishment was one that was not easy to attain. The Russian-German musician and the stunning vocalist, Alessia Cara, were nominated alongside many other incredible artists which included big-name DJs such as: Calvin Harris, Major Lazer, Kygo and Afrojack. This aspiring victory became even more difficult as the other talented DJs boasted collaborations with some of the hottest celebrities on the planet: Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are just to name a couple!
Zedd took to Twitter to announce his excitement to his fans as well as to give his thanks and appreciation to MTV, his decicated supporters as well as his fantastic singer.

The beloved producer has been continuously recognized this year for his talent as well as his hard work; this win is another huge accomplishment and will be cherished forever.
