Dua Lipa – Hotter Than Hell (Heroless Remix)
Up-and-coming Norwegian producer Heroless is one to keep an eye on. At just seventeen years old, he only has released three tracks thus far: a remix of ‘Too Soon’ by Vanic featuring Maty Noyes, a remix of ‘Adieu’ by Tchami, and now, a new remix of ‘Hotter Than Hell’ by Dua Lipa. He reimagines the tropical house single as a darker, brooding future bass track. Dua Lipa’s vocals are pitched down and the melody is reharmonized with new chords that compliment the darker vibes brought out in the new arrangement. Swung, staccato future bass chord stabs accent the drop over a deep, grooving bassline. It’s stellar remix that certainly highlights Heroless’ musical prowess and may very well help him propel into the spotlight.
