Oh heck no, it’s techno! Area 217, a festival boasting to be “world’s largest techno rave”, is set to be held at the Bretigny-sur-Orge base station in France. The three-day festival will take place from June 30 to July 2nd. During this time, the tarmac of the BA217 military base, located around 30 minutes away from downtown Paris, will be transformed into a techno playground for 25,000 ravers.

So far, performers’ schedules include Dave Clarke, Perc, Ben Sims, Tommy Four Seven, dOP (live), and Om Unit. The festival will feature six different stages in which these DJs will spin and have 500kW worth of sound to play with. The festival will also include a mind-blowing display of lights and a dance floor of over 70,000 square meters. If that’s not enough, it is also capable of hosting camping for approximately 10,000 people, along with many other surprises.

So gear up and be part of the world’s largest techno rave! More information is available via the event’s Facebook page.
